Anand Nallathambi is the president and chief executive officer of CoreLogic, a leading provider of consumer, financial and property information, analytics and services to business and government. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s business operations.
Mr. Nallathambi was previously president and chief operating officer of the CoreLogic Information Solutions group. In that role, he managed all strategic positioning and operating activities for the group, which exceeded $1.9 billion in annual revenues in 2008 and 2009. Prior to that, he served as president and chief executive officer of First Advantage Corporation, a majority-owned public subsidiary of the company and Information Solutions group business segment until November 2009.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Nallathambi held various other management and business development positions within CoreLogic, then the First American Corporation, including president of First American Corporation’s Credit Information Group, where he implemented the growth strategy of First American CREDCO. He joined the First American Corporation in 1995. Prior to joining CREDCO, Mr. Nallathambi held financial management positions at First Interstate Bancard, the credit card operations of First Interstate Bank.
Mr. Nallathambi received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Loyola University in Madras, India. He earned a master's degree in business administration from California Lutheran University and has professional designations in systems analysis and international business from the University of California at Los Angeles.
His volunteer activity includes being a part of the advisory council for the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics at California State University, Fullerton. Mr. Nallathambi also serves on the national board of Operation Hope, best-in-class provider of financial literacy empowerment for youth, financial capability for communities, and ultimately, financial dignity for all. Additionally, he is on the national board of directors of the Mortgage Bankers Association and is an active member of the advisory board for the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University. He also serves on the board of directors of the Consumer Data Industry Association, an international trade association that represents consumer information companies. Finally, he is on the national board of directors of the Pacific Council of International Policy, the premier membership-based international affairs organization on the West Coast.
Frank Martell is chief operating officer (COO) for CoreLogic, a leading global provider of residential property information, analytics and data-enabled services to business and the public sector. Mr. Martell is responsible for leading the company’s core business operations which incorporates the Property Intelligence and Risk Management & Workflow Solutions segments as well as global Information Technology and Enterprise Data Management. In addition, Mr. Martell has responsibility for CoreLogic’s strategic sourcing and vendor management and certain administration functions.
Mr. Martell has over 30 years’ experience, including public company CFO, chief operating officer and general management positions in the marketing and financial services and business information industries. Most recently, Mr. Martell was president and chief executive officer of the Western Institutional Review Board (WIRB), a global provider of ethical and regulatory assessments and oversight of clinical trials undertaken by major academic institutions and medical centers as well as pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies.
Prior to WIRB, Mr. Martell was executive vice president and CFO of Advantage Sales and Marketing and, before that, Information Services Group. His experience also includes over 10 years at ACNielsen where he attained the position of chief operating officer and 15 years in a variety of financial leadership roles at the General Electric Company.
In January 2014, Mr. Martell was named by the Orange County Business Journal as the 2013 Outstanding CFO of a Public Company in Orange County.
Mr. Martell holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Villanova University.
Barry Sando is the senior executive vice president, group executive, Risk Management and Workflow (RMW) at CoreLogic, a leading provider of property and financial information, analytics and services. In this role, Mr. Sando oversees all operational aspects of the CoreLogic Risk Management and Workflow segments including credit services and multifamily tenant screening solutions as well as the escrow and post-closing focused units. Additionally, the residential and commercial property tax processing and flood zone determination services fall under RMW. The existing CoreLogic loan origination and default technology solutions businesses also report through RMW to him.
Mr. Sando has more than 25 years’ experience in the housing finance and property information business and previously served as the executive vice president and Group President of First American Information and Outsourcing Solutions. Prior to this, he served as First American Mortgage Information Services Segment president and as president and executive vice president at First American Flood Data Services. He began his career with First American Real Estate Information Services as regional sales manager for First American’s Real Estate Tax Service Company in 1988. His background also includes experience in loan servicing at LOMAS Mortgage, and in operations at Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Sando has been recognized as the Diversity Champion of the Year by the Mortgage Bankers Association and as an executive supporting the advancement of women in the workplace by the Dallas Business Journal.
He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi.
Terry Theologides is senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for CoreLogic. He is responsible for managing the company’s legal, compliance, and information security functions.
In November 2009, Terry joined CoreLogic, then the Information Solutions Group of The First American Corporation, as senior vice president and general counsel. Prior to that, he served as executive vice president and general counsel of Morgan Stanley’s U.S. Residential Mortgage businesses for two years. From 1998 to 2007, Terry was executive vice president and general counsel of New Century Financial Corporation. Before that, he was a corporate and securities lawyer at O’Melveny & Myers, LLP.
Terry has served on the Federal Reserve Board’s Consumer Advisory Council and on the advisory councils of studies sponsored by Harvard University’s Joint Center for Housing Studies. Additionally, he has served in leadership roles at several other industry and professional associations, including the Housing Policy Council of the Financial Services Roundtable, the Mortgage Bankers Association, the American Financial Services Association, the Consumer Data Industry Association, and the Corporate Counsel Section of the Orange County Bar Association. In 2011, he was recognized as the Orange County Business Journal’s General Counsel of the Year for a public company.
Terry received his law degree from Columbia University and his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University.
Jim Balas is the chief financial officer for CoreLogic, a leading provider of residential property information, analytics and data-enabled services to business and government. He is responsible for overseeing the financial reporting, accounting, tax, treasury, capital allocation, risk management as well as the corporate finance functions including our financial planning and analysis and business finance teams. Mr. Balas also plays a key role in strategic initiatives including mergers & acquisitions and the company’s transformation and productivity programs. Additionally, he oversees long-term tax planning, cost management policies, control and reporting operations.
Mr. Balas initially joined CoreLogic in March of 2011, as senior vice president, controller and principal accounting officer. In 2012, he was promoted in his role to include oversight of finance in addition to his other responsibilities. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Balas held a variety of senior finance leadership positions at several publically traded companies after a successful 10-year career at Ernst & Young and Capgemini.
Mr. Balas is a CPA and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
